Great--just as I get Harley re-shod, a hurricane blows into town. And since he's had the last two weeks off, he'll probably be like riding a hurricane once I get a saddle on him again. Let's just hope Hurricane Irene slows down by the time she hits New England.
Here here!!!!! cried the brumby-owner from Massachusetts!!!!! Blustery wind not welcome!!!!
ReplyDeleteVacation is over, Harley! John gave him a schooling session for me--he was being quite sassy after two and half weeks off. Then I got on after and worked him a little more. Tomorrow, he's in for a workout before Hurricane Irene hits!
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well in southern Maine after Irene. You commented on my blog today which gives me hope that you and your husband and sweet Harley made it through A-ok!
ReplyDeleteWe were darn lucky--no power for awhile, but the ancient maples stayed up and everyone at the barn was safe. The eye of the storm veered up the Connecticut River valley and over Vermont (those poor folks)leaving us with a lot less rain and damage.
